Malachi Rice VS Leukemia

Malachi’s Medical Fund

Our Pastor Robert, his wife Liz, their son Paul, his wife Morgan and their oldest son Micah need our prayers for their precious grandson, son and brother Malachi.   Malachi’s, the Doctor’s and Jesus’ fight with Leukemia is very real

My name is Leah Jennings, and I am raising money for my precious nephew Malachi who will be turning 4 years old next month.  Malachi was just diagnosed with Leukemia and he is going to be starting  chemo and then radiation within the next couple days.

The funds will go towards his medical bills.   The funds will also be used to help my brother Paul and sister in law Morgan with their finances to take care of my other nephew Micah and their home.

Paul and Morgan have taken leave from their jobs to be with Malachi in the hospital 24/7 until he is released to come home.  The finance expenses covered by the fund include the household bills and travel cost for the 3 hour drive each way to Oakland’s Children Hospital to get treatments for my nephew.  The hospital is providing facilities to Paul and Morgan to sleep and eat while at the hospital.

At this time the doctors believe they will keep him 2 more weeks at the hospital before release.  Once Malachi is released from the hospital he will require on going monthly treatments and close doctor supervision for 2 years or more.

I know that it is a lot to ask, as my family is not the only one going through tough times, but the help is very much needed and so very much appreciated.  Anything helps, and if you can’t donate, that’s okay, your prayers for Malachi and my family are welcomed and appreciated as well.   Thank you all for any financial support and prayer support you provide, I pray the Lord Jesus fills you with joy and peace.

Leah

Malachi update. His cancer is basically in remission, but the doctors have given him a three year treatment plan to make sure he is completely clear, which consists of different phases. This will consist of constant traveling to and from Oakland. If you can donate, please do, it is much needed. I appreciate you Malachi home feeling better with cancer in remission all!
